The Global Student Recruitment and Admissions directorate delivers marketing, student recruitment and admissions services in partnership with Faculties, creating strategies to attract growing numbers of students from across global markets, as well as from the UK.
As a directorate we are responsible for the delivery of student recruitment targets, ensuring cohesive recruitment strategies and planning from lead generations and attraction, admissions, through to conversion and enrolment.
About the role
The UK & International Student Recruitment team are our market experts, delivering a portfolio of marketing activity to achieve the university’s student recruitment and enrolment targets.
The Travel and Planning Coordinator will be responsible for effective administration and operational support for the UK & International Student Recruitment team.
This will involve budgetary support, working with finance partners and international recruitment agencies, planning and booking travel, arranging meetings, preparing agendas and responding to enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the planning and coordination of student recruitment activity and travel arrangements for recruitment events both in the UK and internationally.
• Provide regular administrative and project support as required to the Director of UK & International Student Recruitment.
• Provide proactive administrative and logistical support to the UK and International Student Recruitment team
• Support with maintaining team budget tracker, raising purchase orders and ensuring vendors are paid to schedule.
• Work alongside Heads of Markets and international recruitment partners to process commission payments in a timely manner
• Use commercial awareness to ensure that cost-effective travel arrangements are made.
• Schedule and prepare agendas and documentation for internal and external meetings
• Data entry to CRM system, maintaining mailing lists and assisting in appropriate and timely communications to prospective students.
• Support with overseas conferences, assisting with logistics, freight and arrangements for delivery of materials for both overseas and UK recruitment activity.
• Provide support to delivery of student recruitment plans and campaigns, as required.
• Proactively build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders internally and externally including overseas.

This is a full time position and the successful candidate will be offered a fixed term contract until July 2027.
