We are looking for a confident Team Leader with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You’ll be working 40.25 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Fairways.

Located in a beautiful Suffolk village, Fairways is a specialist residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs who may have behaviours that challenge. The home provides longer term placements for individuals who require round the clock care and support. Person-centred planning is at the heart of everything we do, based on each individual’s specific need.

Fairways has 8 en-suite bedrooms which the residents are encouraged to personalise to their own tastes. There are communal spaces including living areas, a dining room and an activities of daily living (ADL) skills kitchen to support skill development. Outside there is large garden which has seating for the residents to relax and entertain family and friends with garden parties and BBQs.

Your day-to-day…

  • Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
  • Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely
  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
  • Safeguard
  • Maintain a safe & clean environment for all

  • Minimum 2 years experience working with autism and LD

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
