Position: Teaching assistant (Teaching role – Effectively an unqualified teacher)

Location: Dumfries

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, term time

Salary Details: Up to £27,500 per annum

We are looking to appoint a passionate and committed Higher level teaching assistant, ideally an unqualified teacher to join our growing school. The successful candidate will support in delivering our unique curriculum and help to develop a positive learning environment in order to meet a range of student needs.

Who we are:

Our school provides education to young people aged 8 -18 years with SEMH difficulties who mainly live in our residential homes. This is a challenging yet rewarding role where you can flourish within a team focussed on making a positive difference to our young people's lives.
