Position: Science teacher

Location: Worcester, Worcestershire

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, term time

Salary Details: £38,000 per annum

The school is easily commutable from Bromyard, Leominster, Worcester, Hereford, Malvern and surrounding areas.

The post requires you to plan, prepare and deliver lessons in your key subject area which are good or outstanding to pupils across Key Stages 3 & 4.

General Responsibilities:

  • To demonstrate an understanding as to development of personalised learning experiences and promotion of inclusive practices.
  • To engage actively in performance evaluation and professional development to ensure development of professional skills and practice.
  • To comply with and promote safe working practices for yourself and others in accordance with the school’s Safeguarding and Health & Safety policies.

Who we are:

Hidelow House provides Young People aged between 11–18 years with practical, therapeutic, educational and emotional care and support, enabling them to lead as fulfilling lives as they can achieve. We are a small Independent Special Secondary School based within Hidelow House- a specialist residential therapeutic service for boys in care.
