About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, qualified Social Worker with the relevant skills and experience to join our workforce as the Team Manger for our Huntingdon and Fenland area. This is a full time, permanent role. We are Mental Health Social Work (MHSW) and cover the Peterborough and Cambridgeshire areas. You will be leading a team of Social Workers, Senior Social Workers and a Support Worker to deliver an effective (statutory) Adults Mental Health Social Care service for people who need the support and are ordinarily resident in the area. You will work alongside other Team Managers who covers other areas. You must be AMHP qualified, or willing gain this qualification – you will be supported with this.

You must:

  • Be a qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration or equivalent health qualification
  • Have proven knowledge and understanding of relevant Social Care and Health policy and practice in relation to the provision of services.
  • Have the ability to work from a variety of locations and travel countywide independently
