Job Title: Events Production Manager
Salary: Commencing at £30,960 with progression to £33,814 per annum
About the Role
What You Will Do
- Oversee the management, procurement, and delivery of drama productions, ensuring safe, efficient use of venues, resources, and budgets.
- Manage production budgets in collaboration with the Budget Holder to achieve high-quality, cost-effective outcomes.
- Lead technical delivery and coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Manage and coordinate production teams and contracted creatives to ensure successful delivery.
- Implement and oversee Safe Systems of Work across productions in line with agreed standards.
About You
- GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
- Experience in performing arts and theatre production, including technical roles within a producing environment and/or educational setting.
- Strong technical theatre knowledge (e.g. stage management, lighting, sound, design) and understanding of production teams and networks.
- Experience managing production budgets, including expenditure, and handling contracts and invoices for external practitioners.
- Knowledge of health and safety processes, including writing risk assessments.
- Excellent organisational, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work flexibly and accurately under pressure.
