Job Title: University Teacher in Chemistry

The Chemistry Department, within Loughborough University’s School of Science, wishes to appoint a University Teacher to support the delivery of teaching and learning to its students. Applications are invited from experienced and enthusiastic candidates in order to help maintain our consistently high NSS ratings, foster the successful implementation of new programmes, and advance the delivery of the Chemistry and Natural Science course. The successful candidate will deliver teaching material in a range of formats, including lectures, seminars and laboratory classes. This will involve students from all years of the undergraduate courses including foundation, as well as those on postgraduate taught-MSc programmes. Candidates are expected to have (or shortly be awarded) a PhD in chemistry (or closely related discipline) and the clear potential to contribute to the University Strategy of ‘Creating Better Futures. Together’ in a high-performing HE environment. Applications from candidates with experience in bio-organic chemistry are especially welcome, those with a background in biochemistry and allied disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
