You’ll assure the quality and preparedness of our business continuity plans (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) capabilities in line with industry best practice, regulatory requirements and business needs.

What you’ll do
As the Technology BCP & DR Assurance Manager you’ll play a critical role to ensure our services are resilient and recoverable. You will:
- Develop and implement a BCP & DR framework to effectively manage, improve and remediate resilience and recovery plans for key and critical services including our supply chain across D&T.
- Identity critical business processes and dependencies on technology services / platforms ensuring continuity requirements are clearly defined and addressed.
- Establish robust BCP & DR governance & assurance, in partnership with Service Management and Group BCP, and lead regular reviews and test scenarios with operational teams and partners to ensure plans are within our risk tolerance and aligned to required industry standards.
- Conduct regular Business Impact Analysis (“BIA”) and risk assessments to identify potential threats and scenarios and their associated impact on technology and broader M&S operations.
- Design and implement regular DR testing and simulations on recovery strategic to determine efficiency and provide recommendations for improvement.
Who you are
- Strong understanding and knowledge of key technology areas (Infrastructure, Cloud, Network etc.)
- Demonstrable experience in BCP, DR, IT Risk Management or a related rigour
- Strong communication and relationship skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse partner, and ability to translate technical information to user-friendly language.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
- Change agent, with the ability to embed new ways of working and drive cultural improvements.
