We’re looking for a Supporting People on Recovery Navigator to join our Sussex team working part-time, 28 hours per week.
This is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to make a real difference every day. You’ll support people on probation to overcome barriers, rebuild relationships, improve wellbeing, and move forward into a better future.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same. You could be:
- Delivering 1:1 support and group interventions
- Helping service users access healthcare, housing, or community support
- Supporting people before release from prison
- Building action plans alongside Probation Practitioners
- Encouraging positive lifestyle change and healthier relationships
- Keeping accurate records and ensuring safeguarding at all times
- Travelling across Sussex locations including Brighton, Hastings, Worthing, Crawley, Littlehampton, HMP Ford and HMP Lewes
What We’re Looking For
You may come from probation, prisons, police, education, health, social care, counselling, coaching, or bring valuable life experience and transferable skills.

What You Need
- Experience or transferable skills in support planning, assessments, record keeping or delivering interventions
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel daily across Sussex
- Full UK driving licence desirable

All probation-based roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and HMPPS security vetting. These checks can take up to 6- 16 weeks to complete. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of both checks.
Please note if you have lived overseas within the last 5 years then checks may take longer.
