Service Manager

Right now, we are looking for a Service Manager to play a pivotal role in our Harrow Community Mental Health Service in Harrow.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

Responsible for service delivery and  team management. To be the Lead on ensuring the service meets its required aims, and it integrated into the Harrow Community offer of support.

Here’s what the team will be looking for:

The role requires extensive experience in managing services for individuals with mental health and complex needs, including oversight of multidisciplinary teams and the full range of HR functions such as recruitment, supervision, training, and performance management. It demands proven ability to deliver both group and one-to-one recovery interventions, monitor service performance, manage complex budgets, and ensure timely reporting of data and financial returns. The post-holder must be skilled in supporting staff and service users, planning added-value initiatives (e.g. events, volunteer programs, and student placements), and building effective partnerships across statutory and voluntary sectors. Strong communication skills, experience in presenting to external stakeholders, and the ability to develop processes and guidelines are essential. A thorough understanding of support planning processes, excellent IT proficiency—including use of case management systems—and the ability to prioritise, delegate, and work effectively under pressure are also key to the role.

Work Pattern: Flexi (Flexi hours Monday – Friday, Core hours 10am – 4pm, Bank holidays not inclusive in holiday allowance) Full-time, Permanent
