Senior RtR Financial Analyst – Krakow, Poland

This role supports Record to Report (R2R) activities. The position involves implementing standardized processes, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, and managing key accounting operations. Responsibilities include preparing complex journal entries, executing month-end close procedures, reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts, and coordinating with auditors. The role also serves as a key liaison for senior stakeholders and provides guidance to junior team members.

 

What the day will look like

  • Implement the Standard Operating Model for transitioned activities, ensuring consistency and efficiency;
  • Take full ownership of assigned financial processes, driving accuracy and compliance;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, facilitating clear and effective communication;
  • Support junior colleagues, providing guidance and oversight;
  • Prepare complex journal entries in accordance with accounting standards;
  • Perform and validate bank account reconciliations and monitor transactions for discrepancies;
  • Execute month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting;
  • Prepare and validate Balance Sheet account reconciliations;
  • Ensure all transactions comply with corporate policies and statutory regulations;
  • Follow guidance from the local finance teams within the scope of responsibility;
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audit processes.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • At least 4 years of experience in accounting & finance area
  • High attention to details and ability to analyse data and check its accuracy;
  • Good understanding of accounting processes;
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, MS Excel);
  • Very good organizational skills;
  • B2/C1 English both written and verbal (participation in calls with Local country);
  • Ability to recognize change impact across processes/teams and identify possible risks;
  • Ability to work under time pressure;
  • Experience with ERP solution;
