Senior Project Manager (Business Change)
About the Role
Previous experience in effective delivery of complex projects is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively, to manage specific workstream within a large business transformation programme, adhering to the LV= Project Management Framework (PMF), ensuring these meet the agreed cost, time and quality constraints.
We support hybrid working, with a regular (2 days a week) presence required at either our Exeter or Bournemouth offices.
Key Responsibilities
•Support the Programme Manager with delivery scope and managing the programme cost model.
•Manage specific programme workstreams in line with LV= change processes.
•Ensure that objectives are delivered in a timely manner and that they meet budget and quality requirements.
•Build and maintain effective working relationships with third-party suppliers to ensure a smooth delivery.
•Collaborate with onshore and offshore scrum team to deliver SmartComms documents and Data Extracts through Fabric for the protection business.
•Provide information and updates to a range of stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
About You
•Demonstrated experience of successfully delivering complex projects, with multiple stakeholders and suppliers.
•Competent to apply robust project/programme management skills to more complex situations, demonstrating proactive delivery ownership.
•Possess knowledge and experience of various project management approaches and tools including: waterfall, agile and hybrid, and how best to apply these to optimise the project team’s ability to deliver.
•Relevant project management certification, relevant degree or QBE.
•Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to work with stakeholders at all levels and with key external delivery partners.
•Strong commercial awareness.
•Leadership or mentoring experience, with the ability to provide coaching/assistance if required.
•Ability to identify project priorities and challenges, and collaborate with the team to implement effective solutions.
