About the role
Imperial College London is undertaking ambitious, organisation‑wide transformation to ensure our professional services continue to support world‑leading research and education.
What you would be doing
This is a highly varied role requiring large scale Service Design experience including:
- Programme leadership – planning, governance, risk and dependency management, stage‑gate assurance, business cases and benefits realisation
- Data and insight – translating service design proposals into clear metrics and measurable outcomes, including workforce and service performance analysis
- People and organisational change – working closely with the Strategic Change team and Human Resource to ensure programmes have the right conditions to deliver meaningful sustainable benefits and integrate transformation initiatives with workforce planning, employment policies and organisational design
- Operating model implementation – you will bring experience of driving the successful implementation of
As a senior member of the Transformation Team, you’ll help build capability, mentor others and contribute to a strong, collaborative team culture. You’ll play a key role in shaping future services and delivering measurable benefit.

What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced Senior Programme Manager – Service Design to lead a portfolio of service design programmes that are reshaping Imperial’s operating model across multiple business areas. Sitting within the Transformation Team and working in a matrix environment, you will operate at a senior level with visibility across the organisation supporting major initiatives including digital transformation, ERP implementation and campus development
