This is a rare opportunity to launch and shape a brand-new Day Rehab programme in North Northamptonshire, working full-time (35 hours per week). As Senior Counsellor, you’ll play a pivotal role in building, developing, and leading a high-performing counselling team, while making a real difference in people’s lives.
You’ll combine hands-on clinical work with leadership, ensuring high-quality delivery, strong outcomes, and a supportive, motivated team environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of counsellors, students, and volunteers
- Oversee delivery of a high-quality psychosocial/psychoeducational Day Rehab programme
- Monitor performance, standards, and client outcomes to ensure effective service delivery
- Hold a caseload and support client assessments, referrals, and care planning
- Facilitate team meetings, supervision, and staff development
- Ensure accurate records, compliance, safeguarding, and quality assurance processes

- A qualified and experienced counsellor with leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of psychosocial and psychoeducational treatment models
- Confident managing teams, performance, and service delivery
- Passionate about delivering impactful client outcomes
