Your Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAS Developer to join our team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Advanced SAS, SAS Viya, and SAS DI, with a proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions in complex environments. Experience in the banking or financial services domain is highly desirable.
- Design, develop, and maintain SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing SAS code for performance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, business users, and IT.
- Implement solutions using SAS Viya and SAS DI Studio.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Your Profile:
- Strong proficiency in SAS programming, including Base SAS, Advanced SAS, and SAS Macros.
- Hands-on experience with SAS Viya and SAS DI Studio.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data management.
- Experience in the banking or financial services domain is a strong advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
