Overview

Registry Systems Officer (CC13610) – Bath, BA2 7AY

The Academic Registry’s Student System Support team is looking for two Registry Systems Officers to join the well-established University records system support team.

You will join a team who are responsible for providing essential user and system support for systems that underpin the administration of the student’s academic journey, joining during a period of strategic and operation change.

About the role

Working with the other Registry Systems Officers, you will:

  • contribute to training and support for users of the University student records system (SITS) as they undertake student lifecycle business such as assessment outcomes processing, board of examiners decision making, and awards processing.
  • provide technical support to users for curriculum management processes such as submission and approval of changes to units and courses.
  • create curriculum records to support course marketing and change processes.
  • undertake cyclical curriculum maintenance tasks including the deployment of approved unit and course changes into SITS.

This is an exciting opportunity because of the varied nature of the areas of user support you will be involved in, and the technical and communications experience you will gain.

You will be supported in your development to increase your knowledge of SITS, building on your existing experience. In addition, you will become proficient in our customer relationship management software and reporting tools. You will work in collaboration with both administrators in the Faculties/School and system developers in the University’s Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) department.

About you

The role will suit those with previous experience with SITS records systems who wish to broaden and advance their careers in a higher education professional services environment.

If you relish passing on your knowledge to users, are professionally curious and enjoy the challenge of learning new systems and supporting others as they learn – we’d love to hear from you and welcome you to our supportive and hard-working team.
