As a leading, Multi-Disciplinary Construction Consultancy, Pick Everard are looking to appoint a Project or Senior Project Manager.
 
We are seeking a confident individual who can take on a major mixed-use project worth 65 million. You will be helping us to continue to deliver excellence throughout our rich, 160  year history. You will be a part of our Nottingham (Midlands) team of PM’s, but will work from Birmingham for a leading client on an agile basis, to include 3 days a week office working. 
 
Within this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, managing and communicating with the client, project stakeholders and other consultants appointed in order to meet the requirements of the project. You will also be required to prepare and issue reports, including but not limited to preparation of project execution plans (PEP), strategy reports, risk registers and progress reports etc. 
 
You will be overseeing and managing the control of the project both pre and post-contract including financial expenditure throughout all RIBA stages. This opportunity provides you a chance to be able to produce a real lasting impact upon the business, therefore becoming an essential part of our Project Management team.

About You

Our ideal Project Manager must have: 
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes and have experience working in a similar role in the construction environment
  • Private sector experience due to the nature of the clients
  • Good knowledge of NEC contracts and experienced in administering NEC contracts
  • The ability to monitor progress and expenditure of projects through all of the RIBA stages
  • A clear understanding of risk management including identification, management, mitigation and risk transfer
 
It would be nice for you to have:
  • Member of a construction related professional body, such as RICS, CIOB, CIBSE, etc.
  • HNC, HND or a construction related degree
  • A strong track record of working in busy, fast – paced environments
  • Good understanding of IT including Microsoft package 
  •  Net Zero and Sustainability knowledge would be a huge advantage
