What the day will look like
In this role, you will help embed and operate Aon’s Product & Binder Governance framework across the business, including:
- Embedding the Product & Binder Governance framework and supporting colleagues to follow processes consistently, with appropriate approvals acquired.
- Collaborating alongside product groups to help ensure products remain compliant and within Aon’s risk appetite.
- Coordinating timely completion of product and binder reviews, ensuring Senior Management approvals are acquired, detailed and recorded.
- Partnering with insurers to help ensure obligations are met (including Fair Value Assessments) and coordinating information requests from insurers and service providers.
- Maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date Product & Binder information in the Product Universe and Binder Governance SharePoint, supporting strong data quality and governance standards.
- Collaborating with product teams, binder owners, Risk & Compliance and other stakeholders to support governance activity and resolve issues.
- Working consistent with Aon UK Limited policies, including participating in risk management activities and completing mandatory training.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Experience in product governance, delegated authority/binder management or a related risk and compliance role in insurance or financial services.
- Understanding of governance frameworks and regulatory expectations for products and/or binders (for example accurate valuation and management of third parties).
- Ability to build positive relationships and influence across product teams, underwriting, insurers and control functions.
- Strong attention to detail and data quality, with experience maintaining accurate records and documentation (for example in SharePoint).
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple reviews and approvals within agreed timeframes.
