About Us
We are seeking a collaborative and proactive Post Doctoral Research Associate to join a multi-national ERC Synergy Programme, EndoTheranostics, aiming to revolutionise Colorectal Cancer Treatment. The post-holder will work in the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences, King’s College London, with a team of investigators covering AI, computer vision, robotics, and medical imaging.
You will join a dynamic and successful team with access to both cutting-edge computer power and advanced image acquisition capabilities. Together, we are developing next-generation Ai-assisted robots for colorectal cancer treatment.
About The Role
EndoTheranostics aims to transform the screening and treatment of colorectal cancer (CRC) through the development of a novel soft tip-growing eversion robot. The system integrates robotics, multimodal imaging, and AI-assisted diagnostics to enable safer and more effective screening and therapy.
The postholder will focus on developing and applying advanced computer vision and machine learning methods for multimodal imaging and real-time analysis in colorectal cancer screening and treatment. They will contribute to the design of AI algorithms for polyp detection, tissue characterization, and visual guidance of robotic intervention.
This is a full time, and you will be offered a fixed term contract for 2 years.
