About the job you’re considering
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Platform Architect to apply their skills within a complex and evolving Managed Services environment. Our clients are undergoing significant transformation, with operational resilience, service availability, and risk management playing a critical role in their business strategies.
As a Platform Architect, you will take ownership of the platform architecture across contracted services, evolving the platform to ensure it aligns with the business priorities. You will act as a focal point for the platform architecture, working closely with architects, engineers, cybersecurity teams, and stakeholders to ensure technical integrity, regulatory adherence, robust recovery capabilities, and evolve the platform capabilities over time.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role
As an integral part of the Capgemini Architecture community, you’ll have fantastic opportunities to develop both yourself, and our collective capabilities. As part of a Service Line team, you’ll be empowered to provide:
- Own and govern platform architecture across Managed Services contracts
- Develop and implement resilience strategies covering business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Assess vulnerabilities across IT landscapes and business processes.
- Design and assure failover and recovery solutions.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to embed resilience into security frameworks.
- Lead resilience testing, simulations, and scenario planning.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide best-practice guidance to technical teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders.

Your skills and experience
- Proven experience as an architect for a Kubernetes-based platform (preferably OpenShift) operating in data centre and cloud hosted environments.
- Proven experience in platform architecture, disaster recovery, or business continuity.
- Experience working in Agile programmes.
- Experience in complex Managed Services environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of cloud, infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of ISO 22301, NIST, ITIL, or equivalent frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CBCP, CISSP, or TOGAF are desirable.
