Join our team as a People Administrator (Onboarding Team)
Sense has an exciting opportunity for a proactive, organised administrator to join our dedicated People Administration Team. This is a 9-month fixed term contract working 37.5 hours per week.
This isn’t just paperwork – you’ll play a vital role in welcoming new colleagues and volunteers into Sense.
Based in Selly Oak on a hybrid basis, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. One moment you’ll be handling right-to-work checks and DBS applications, the next you’ll be managing a shared inbox and supporting recruitment.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver high-quality, consistent people administration across recruitment, onboarding, and volunteering.
- Manage pre-employment checks (references, DBS, right to work, full employment history).
- Respond promptly to enquiries from employees, managers, and candidates.
What you bring:
- Proven experience in a busy admin team gained in Recruitment, HR, or Training.
- A customer-focused approach – great over email, phone, and in person.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence with IT (Word, mail merge, spreadsheets).
- Understanding of GDPR and handling confidential information.
