Job Description

Our Kitchen Porters play an integral part in ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the catering operation within the Inner Temple over a 7-day period.

Salary: £29,000 per annum

Predominately Monday to Friday, occasional weekend. 

Closed for the whole month of August and open again on the 7th of September.

Closed for Christmas on Monday the 21st of December. Returning on Monday January the 4th.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all areas of the kitchens and service areas on all floors are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.
  • To work in all areas of the kitchen according to the weekly rota.
  • To ensure all areas are regularly checked for maintenance and repairs.
  • To maintain catering storage areas, ensuring they are always organised and clean.
  • To assist with goods-in, counting and storing them correctly. 
  • To support with some food preparation when required.
