Description: Due to an internal promotion, we have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our Home Ownership team. The role is perfect for someone who has a genuine desire to take personal responsibility in delivering excellent customer service and leasehold management.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:
The collection of service charges, ground rent and major works invoices.
Maintaining accurate leasehold records and databases
Assisting with the management of the Council’s long leases
Processing Right to Buy applications and Shared Ownership resales
Liaising with solicitors on pre-sales enquiries
Our ideal candidate must be able to work on their own initiative, manage a busy workload, have excellent IT skills, and have the ability to build effective relationships. It would be great if the candidate has worked in Home Ownership/Leasehold Services before and has working knowledge of relevant leasehold legislation, but this is not essential. We will welcome an application from anyone who can demonstrate they also have transferrable skills.
Due to the nature of this position, you will need to have access to your own vehicle or be willing to cycle around the city.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.

Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £32,597 – £36,363 per annum (City Pay Band 4), pro rata for part time.
Location: This is flexible – working in Cambridge on site or at one of our offices or working from home. You will be able to balance your work location accordingly.
