Head of Transnational Education – Sbarc/Spark, Cardiff

Following the launch of our University Strategy, Our future, together, and the recent publication of our expanded, ambitious and innovative Global Strategy, Cardiff University is establishing a dedicated Transnational Education (TNE) team.

With a strong commitment to developing reciprocal TNE partnerships, and following the opening of our first international branch campus in Kazakhstan, Cardiff University is embarking on an exciting new phase of global expansion.

 Head of Transnational Education (TNE)

Cardiff University is seeking to appoint an experienced and ambitious Head of Transnational Education (TNE) to provide strategic leadership for Cardiff University’s ambitious and growing TNE portfolio.

The postholder will provide strategic leadership, direction and management for the University’s TNE portfolio, ensuring that its development is aligned with Cardiff University’s strategic priorities and Global Strategy. They will develop new TNE opportunities, lead partnership negotiations and oversee the development and delivery of TNE agreements across a range of international markets and jurisdictions. 

The postholder will provide expert advice on the legal, regulatory and compliance considerations associated with TNE, working closely with colleagues across the University to ensure that partnerships are appropriately developed, governed and delivered.

The postholder will lead and line manage the Cardiff University TNE Team, providing strategic direction and creating a collaborative, high-performing team focused on developing and managing high-quality TNE partnerships.

The post is full time and open ended.

International travel will be necessary, as required.

Salary: £61,759 – £67,468 per annum (Grade 8)

Mae Prifysgol Caerdydd yn dymuno penodi Pennaeth Addysg Drawswladol (ADL) profiadol ac uchelgeisiol i ddarparu arweinyddiaeth strategol i bortffolio ADL uchelgeisiol a chynyddol Prifysgol Caerdydd.

Bydd deiliad y swydd yn arwain yn strategol, yn rhoi cyfeiriad ac yn rheoli portffolio ADL y Brifysgol, gan sicrhau bod ei ddatblygiad yn cyd-fynd â blaenoriaethau strategol a Strategaeth Fyd-eang Prifysgol Caerdydd. Bydd yn datblygu cyfleoedd ADL newydd, yn arwain y broses o negodi partneriaethau ac yn goruchwylio datblygiad a chyflawniad cytundebau ADL ar draws ystod o farchnadoedd ac awdurdodaethau rhyngwladol. 

Bydd deiliad y swydd yn darparu cyngor arbenigol ar yr ystyriaethau cyfreithiol, rheoleiddiol a chydymffurfiol sy’n gysylltiedig ag ADL, gan gydweithio’n agos â chydweithwyr ledled y Brifysgol i sicrhau bod partneriaethau’n cael eu datblygu, eu llywodraethu a’u cyflawni’n briodol.

Bydd deiliad y swydd yn arwain ac yn rheoli llinell Tîm ADL Prifysgol Caerdydd, gan ddarparu cyfeiriad strategol a chreu tîm cydweithredol sy’n perfformio’n uchel ac yn canolbwyntio ar ddatblygu a rheoli partneriaethau ADL o safon.
