About the role 

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, build and maintain the internal analytics tools used by scouts, analysts, coaches and football operations staff. Working across both backend and frontend technologies, you will transform complex football data into intuitive, reliable products that support recruitment and performance decision-making across Newcastle United. 

What you’ll do 

  • Design, build and maintain internal web applications across the full technology stack. 

  • Develop backend services and REST APIs using modern technologies and best practices. 

  • Build clear, data-rich interfaces, dashboards and visualisations that support decision-making. 

  • Take ownership of cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines and application performance. 

  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, designers and stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions. 

  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and the continuous improvement of the platform.
