Fleet Infrastructure Administrator – Hornsey
Make a difference behind the scenes at GTR
At Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), we keep people moving — safely, sustainably, and with care. Behind every smooth journey, there’s a dedicated team ensuring our operations run seamlessly. We’re now looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Fleet Infrastructure Team Administrator to join our engineering department and help keep our fleet services on track.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working with others, and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support. Whether you’ve worked in rail, logistics, facilities, or any other fast-paced industry — your skills could be exactly what we’re looking for.
What you’ll be doing?
You’ll be a key part of the Fleet Infrastructure team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations by:
-
Providing timely and efficient administrative support to the team.
-
Taking accurate and high-quality minutes at meetings.
-
Managing training, sickness, and KPI records with precision and confidentiality.
-
Producing weekly reports and maintaining accurate data within our systems (including Asset Pro).
-
Supporting compliance with our safety and quality standards across all depots.
You’ll work closely with colleagues from across GTR — from engineers to planners — helping us stay coordinated, informed, and ready to deliver great service to our passengers.
What we’re looking for?
We’re not just after experience — we’re looking for the right attitude. If you’re organised, curious, and motivated to make a positive impact, we’ll support you to grow.
You’ll bring:
-
Strong IT skills, especially in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
-
Great communication and teamwork skills.
-
The ability to plan, prioritise and multitask effectively.
-
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role.
-
A flexible, proactive mindset — ready to take on new challenges.
