Ad-hoc Reporting & Analysis
- Develop dashboards and bespoke reports for Finance Business Partners and senior leadership
- Support reporting requirements including cash flow forecasting, covenant compliance, and KPI packs
Statutory Reporting
- Prepare annual financial statements for UK, Isle of Man, and Jersey entities
Audit Coordination
- Act as a key contact for external auditors
- Prepare PBC (Provided by Client) schedules, respond to queries, and track audit progress
- Support internal controls testing and remediation across jurisdictions
Process & Controls Improvement
- Contribute to financial period-end processes and controls
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including rapid close and process optimisation
What you will have
- Newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (first-time passes preferred)
- 0–2 years’ post-qualified experience in audit, group reporting, or management accounting
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS102 and UK GAAP
- Exposure to construction or project-based accounting (e.g. WIP, percentage of completion) is desirable but not essential
- Advanced Excel skills (including PivotTables, Power Query, and complex formulas)
- Familiarity with data/BI tools and an interest in leveraging digital or AI tools to improve reporting efficiency
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insights
- Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and non-finance teams
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with a strong sense of ownership
- Adaptable and resilient, able to manage priorities across a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
This role is particularly well suited to a recently qualified accountant looking to build a well-rounded skill set across financial reporting in a complex, international environment.
