The Role:

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Family Support Worker to join our team. Our exciting, innovative, and caring service supports children, young people and their families aged 0-19 years (up to 25 years with SEND), who need information, advice and direct support. Family Support Worker’s apply multi-disciplinary skills in their work and use restorative practice in all they do. The team deliver a range of interventions, including the Family Support Line, drop-in sessions, parenting programmes, and directly support families on a one-to-one basis.
We also offer agile working, as well as hybrid working Children and families service – rewards and benefits – Warwickshire County Council.

Key Requirements:

We are looking for people with the following skills and experience:

Resilientwith emotional intelligence, and anunderstanding of family dynamics and child development.
Experience of positive parenting skills.
Experience of engaging and working with families facing challenges.
A solution-focused and strength-based ethos.
