  • Our Adviser business provides financial planning solutions and technology for UK financial advisers, enabling them to create value for their customers.
  • Our Investments business is a specialist asset manager that focuses on areas where we have both strength and scale to capitalise on the key themes shaping the market, through either public markets or alternative asset classes.

About the Role

The Executive PA will provide proactive and efficient support to the Group Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and UK based Risk Leadership Team (RLT), fostering strong relationships across the Risk & Compliance (R&C) team and the wider business. The role is pivotal in helping the CRO deliver the functions strategic objectives and will include a broad spectrum of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on strategic support for the CRO and RLT and relationship building with key stakeholders
  • Assist the Group CRO & RLT in managing their workload highlighting deadlines and actions from meetings
  • Proactive support for the CRO and RLT (c.6 persons) including comprehensive support managing calendars, coordinating travel, organising meetings and preparing documents as required
  • Assistance with ad-hoc tasks and projects to ensure smooth running of the R&C team including updating milestones and deliverables
  • Encouraging cost savings and proposing alternatives confidently to enable efficient ways of working
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure effective scheduling
  • Carry out specific projects and/ or provide assistance to ad-hoc projects, as requested
  • Serve as a primary contact point for the CRO in managing communications and ensuring timely responses to queries
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Risk Leadership Team and leaders across the organisation
  • Travel arrangements for CRO and wider R&C team, including budget oversight and visa preparation
  • Proactively identify opportunities for working smarter and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.

About the Candidate:

  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders with multitasking and prioritisation
  • Ability to anticipate the priorities of the CRO and other Risk Leadership Team members to ensure seamless support.
  • Operate with a high level of professionalism and discretion and handle confidential information
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ensure all personal deadlines are met and managed effectively
  • Willingness to learn systems such as Oracle, Reed & Mackay, Concur
  • Excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills and influencing abilities
  • Commitment to self-development and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
