Description: About the Team

County Highways Minor Works team deals with Delegated Budgets, Civil Parking enforcement, Section 106/278 schemes, HS2 improvements and a wide variety of schemes for the Parish Councils around the County.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and self-motivated engineering technician to join our County Highways Minor Works Team at Warwickshire County Council.

The team oversees and delivers in partnership with our term maintenance contractor all planned highway works and capital highway programme.

Your role will be to assist in the design and project management of capital improvement works and schemes. Assisting the management of their delivery within agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.

Key Requirements

To be successful you’ll need good communication skills both verbal and written, planning and organising and IT skills.
The role requires the ability to travel across Warwickshire.
