EMEA SOX Compliance Analyst

What the day will look like

 

  • Support continuous monitoring, assessment and improvement of key business processes and internal & SOX controls impacting the organization
  • Execute assigned elements of the SOX program, including process documentation, walk-through documentation, risk and control matrices, testing work papers, and evaluation of control effectiveness
  • Assist in identifying risks and control gaps and support remediation activities in cooperation with process owners
  • Support preparation, analysis and sharing of metrics and reports related to SOX and control activities
  • Ensure processes and controls are properly documented and that knowledge is captured and maintained
  • Participate in team initiatives and project work as assigned

Skills and experience that will lead to success

 

  • University degree or professional qualification in Finance or Accounting
  • 1–2 years of experience in SOX 404 or internal controls environment
  • 2–3 years of experience in Finance and Accounting or SSC/BPO industry
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Good verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office required)
  • MS Excel – good to advanced level; VBA knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and continuously develop skills and qualifications
  • Experience in project work would be an asset
  • Strong ethical standards and attention to detail
