Aon, a leading international risk consultant and insurance broker with an office in Cyprus is looking to hire a Deputy Broker – Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the management and development of corporate and personal client accounts.

What The Day Will Look Like

  • Providing comprehensive service and support to local clients, both individuals and organizations—across all insurance products offered by our office including General Insurance, Group Life and Group Medical (Group Benefits).
  • Managing day-to-day communications and negotiations with insurance providers for specific accounts.
  • Providing administrative, reporting and practical support to senior brokers and management where required.
  • Expanding the client base by leveraging personal networks, skills, and existing portfolio.
  • Resolution of queries received from clients and insurers – liaising with colleagues within other departments and local offices as necessary.
  • Working in accordance with the Aon Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon policies (including completion of mandatory training).

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the Cyprus insurance market, either for an agent/broker or insurer on a client facing role.

  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, exceptional organizational skills, ability to make and communicate difficult decisions.
  • Strong written and communication skills necessary to communicate in a professional manner with clients and the marketplace.
  • A strong team player who understands the roles and responsibilities of other Aon professionals on the team, assumes responsibility for the timely delivery of a professional work product in accordance with assigned roles, and facilitates communication among team members.
  • Promote creativity in presenting new ideas and approaches for clients or prospects; promote a positive attitude in always trying to improve a program.

Education

  • Holder of ΠΒΑΚ (Certificate of Basic Insurance Training).
  • Bachelor’s degree
