The A Side: A Day in The Life
Reporting to the Central CRM Manager, this role involves collaborating with various teams to support the day-to-day functions of the Universal Music UK CRM Team. The role will vary day-to-day with different types of tasks from reporting requests, to CRM platform demos, to sending out a newsletter.
This role encompasses marketing, data, and technology — supporting CRM campaign delivery while acting as a key link between CRM teams and developers, and owning the execution of the Universal Music UK central mailing list.
Be Administrative

Own and manage the end-to-end execution of the Universal Music UK Central mailing list, including planning, build, testing, send, and reporting

Act as a key point of contact between the CRM Team and developers, translating campaign and product needs into clear technical briefs

Daily administrative data tasks and regular audits across all systems and assets

Assist with reporting and performance tracking across campaigns

Workload and meeting co-ordination: being confident in organising own workload
Be Communicative

Assist with marketing queries and requests, providing clear, structured briefs for developers and technical teams

Work with developers to manage and track new feature requests, timelines, and delivery

Support with troubleshooting across CRM systems, websites, and email builds

Help bridge gaps between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams
Be Collaborative

Manage end-to-end planning and build of centrally run newsletters, sharing plans and results across the wider CRM team

Contribute to campaign planning with a data-led mindset

Support the wider team when needed on their CRM Campaigns

Support the CRM team and wider teams with ad-hoc queries and reporting
Be Data Driven and Tech Minded

Maintain data compliance and best practice

Support improvements in segmentation, automation, and personalisation

Stay up to date with CRM tools, marketing technology, and industry trends
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Necessary

Comfortable working with both technical systems and marketing

Excellent attention to detail

Flexible and able to prioritise own workload

Confident asking questions and managing requests across multiple teams

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workflows and deadlines

Highly numerate with an analytical mind

Excel: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and all other basic functionalities are a must

Self-motivated, hard-working, and enthusiastic

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure

Good computer skills i.e.: Microsoft Office, PowerPoint

Awareness of Consumer Relationship Marketing and the part data plays within the marketing environment
Desirable

Basic HTML skills, particularly with email focus

Experience using data analytics and visualisation tools – Google Analytics, Data Studio

Knowledge of digital marketing / digital music developments

Past experience using CRM systems and campaigning

Familiarity with Ecommerce platforms i.e. Shopify

Interest in using AI to enhance workflows
