About the role
Do you want to make a real difference to children with disabilities and their families? If so, apply today to join our lively and dynamic Disabled Children Referral and Access Team where and you really can make an impact!
We act as the first point of contact for children with disabilities and their families across Cambridgeshire. You’ll play a vital role in assessing needs, enabling short breaks under the local offer, and supporting young people to achieve greater independence.
We are looking for a enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated individual to become our Children’s Information and Advice Officer in our busy team. We want a person who is passionate about providing quality services to children with disabilities and their families within a strengths-based practice framework, helping children to increase their skills and independence and building resilience within families.

About you
We’re seeking a confident and compassionate individual who builds strong relationships and networks with ease. You work effectively with children, ideally bringing experience from the disabilities sector, and you take pride in staying organised and managing administrative tasks efficiently. You actively engage in multi-agency collaboration, prioritise safeguarding, and thrive as part of a supportive, team-focused environment.
Experience in social care or disability services is desirable but not essential as we recognise the importance of transferable skills and we provide a comprehensive, focused induction.
