Position Overview

Accelerate digital wholesale growth across key UK partners by unlocking commercial opportunities, elevating assortment strategy and embedding data‑led decision‑making to deliver long‑term, sustainable performance.

We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our UK Wholesale Digital team, supporting both Pure Player and Bricks & Clicks partners.

This role owns the strategic development and performance optimisation of key digital wholesale accounts. You will identify and unlock growth opportunities across assortment, trading performance and partner engagement, using data‑led insights, forward planning and close cross‑functional collaboration — while ensuring brand integrity and luxury positioning remain central.

Working closely with Key Account Managers, this role complements day‑to‑day commercial execution by leading strategic planning, performance insight and long‑term growth development. You will operate in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment, balancing multiple priorities and partner dynamics while delivering against ambitious growth objectives.

  • Reports to: Digital Commerce Lead, Wholesale UK & Business Development EMEA
  • Direct Reports: Business Development Analyst (UK);
  • Own digital performance across key wholesale accounts, driving sustainable growth
  • Lead in‑season performance reviews and translate insight into action
  • Shape forecasts and long‑range plans in partnership with Brand and key stakeholders
  • Identify and deliver strategic growth opportunities through data and market insight
  • Lead strategic business reviews with partners, aligning priorities and outcomes
  • Represent Digital Commerce in key partner meetings with insight‑led recommendations
  • Build strong, trust‑based relationships with key partners and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Brand Managers, Buying, Marketing, Sales and EMEA Digital teams
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers to enable best‑in‑class commercial execution
  • Act as the interface between Digital Commerce and Buying teams, ensuring commercial and brand alignment
  • Lead brand and category performance analysis to optimise digital assortments
  • Partner with the Business Development Analyst to develop scalable, data‑driven tools to support market appointments.
  • Drive expansion of assortment breadth and depth across key partners
  • Support development of a single source‑of‑truth data environment
  • Enable Sales and partner teams with pre‑market insights and data‑led storytelling
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Prepare and deliver high‑quality internal and external performance presentations, acting as a brand and team ambassador, including senior meetings supporting information.
  • Deliver competitive benchmarking and market insights to inform strategy, acting as an internal “Digital Consultant”.
  • Develop and track KPIs to guide performance and decision‑making
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing Team
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance and support development
  • Foster an insight‑led, collaborative team culture
  • Substantial proven experience in business development, Digital wholesale / e‑commerce or Merchandising and Business Planning.
  • Strong experience working with key accounts and external partners
  • Advanced analytical capability, with experience translating data into action
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and BI tools
  • Solid understanding of digital wholesale models (pure players, marketplaces, omni‑channel)
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder‑management skills
  • Comfortable operating in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment
  • Luxury or premium fashion experience strongly preferred
