Loughborough University is committed to allowing its employees to work dynamically with a combination of working on campus and remotely, where possible. This position is eligible for hybrid working with the expectation of 3 days in the office and the option of 2 days remote (subject to line manager agreement).
This is an opportunity to join the Business Administration Team in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities. This is a diverse and interesting role, ideal for those who like variety. The successful candidate will support a range of Team activities and have the opportunity to take the lead on others. The duties described in the job description indicate the type of tasks which may be undertaken at different times, in accordance with business needs.

We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and proactive administrator to support HR activities such as the recruitment and selection of staff within the School, as well as management of the School’s facilities. If you are an organised, conscientious and positive individual, who likes variety, and would enjoy working both individually and collectively as part of our team, then this is a great opportunity. We will provide comprehensive training and are dedicated to developing our staff which makes this is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to develop.
Key Requirements:
- You’ll have previous relevant experience of working in a busy office environment
- You’ll have experience of working within a student or other customer-focussed environment
- You’ll be an organised, methodical team player
- You’ll have excellent communication skills
- You’ll have GCSE Grade C or equivalent in both English and Maths, together with A level or equivalent education
