Position Overview

Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months.

The Belonging & Equity Associate works in partnership with the wider Belonging & Equity (BE) Team, P&D Team and other business stakeholders supporting the drive, design and delivery of key BE interventions. Working closely with the Employee Impact Groups (EIG) you will support and assist the operational delivery of tactical plans, events and objectives linked to the Ralph Lauren Purpose and overall BE vision. You will provide supporting advice and best practices to engage Ralph Lauren communities in Belonging & Equity.

  • Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months.
  • In partnership with the P&D team, support the design and delivery of all end-to-end BE practices throughout the Employee Lifecycle.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Belonging & Equity Manager (Line Manager) review and monitor People & BE related KPIs, providing suggestions to influence people agenda and practices.
  • Builds strong relationships with peers within the P&D Team, Employee Impact Groups (EIG), and Country BE Captains to scale BE interventions regionally.
  • Supports the design, and delivery of Employee Impact Group (EIG) initiatives, embedding and ensuring constant elevation in operational excellence.
  • Works closely with EIG Chairs, providing feedback, coaching & mentoring to support population in delivering against expectations.
  • Works closely with Regional & Global Communication teams, in the creation and cascade of a centralised calendar of EIG & BE events and communications i.e. Global Heritage Month
  • Supports and assist action planning activities with EIG Chairs to drive community engagement global awareness, reach and impact.
  • Owns and delivers the coordination of internal & external BE projects, ensuring consistent and clear communication throughout stakeholder management, to include (meeting cadence, meeting minutes & diary management)
  • Partners with our EIG Leadership to identify opportunities and concerns, distil information and progress their plans, help with communication and information collation, ensuring actions deliver timely results.
  • Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months.
  • Proven experience and passion for Belonging & Equity initiatives.
  • Moderate knowledge of Belonging & Equity theory and best practice, with an ability to apply research and the socio-political context to internal plans.
  • Willing to build an external network, upon which to draw insights and inspiration.
  • Action oriented; able to facilitate conversations, coordination and in time project manage initiatives, monitoring and reporting progress.
  • An empathetic style with an ability to build trusted relationships to influence behavioural change at appropriate levels.
  • Culturally sensitive, able to consider local nuances when building out plans.
  • An analytical mindset and a data centric approach, able to communicate and story tell data insights in a compelling and thoughtful way.
  • Effective communication / interpersonal skills
  • Proactive in approach with ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to adhere to and deliver against deadlines.
  • Able to give and receive feedback.
  • Good knowledge of Belonging & Equity practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft system, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
