Pick Everard are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Building Surveyor to join us as an Associate Director in Leeds. You will be leading and shaping the discipline, as part of a growing, multi-disciplinary consultancy. 

This is a unique opportunity for you to be autonomous, and impactful, being able to grow a department in Leeds and influence the direction of our offering, through business development and strategic activities, alongside a dedicated, knowledgeable senior leadership team. 
 

We are proud to work on a range of exciting projects across a range of sectors including heritage, education, healthcare, commercial, central government, defence and retail. You will work collaboratively with a supportive team, helping to deliver fantastic service to an ever-growing, diverse client base. 

You will help us shape our emerging talent within the discipline and will achieve business plan targets through effective management and development of existing and new client accounts.

About You

Our ideal Associate Director – Building Surveying must be:

  • A Chartered Surveyor with considerable experience in a relevant position, including team management.
  • RICS or MCIOB qualified
  • Have a superior level of technical knowledge and be strong in business development skills
  • Have strong bid writing and presentation skills to clients
  • Have industry knowledge across a variety of sectors

It would be nice for you to have:

  • Ability to control day to day programming and planning of projects
  • Ability to manage, monitor and control workload and resource allocation
  • Ability to monitor progress and expenditure of projects
  • Developed leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Commitment to regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
