Assistant Principal

Location: Cross College

Salary: Up to *GBP*78,000 per annum.

Basis: Full time

We are looking for a person with a deep passion for teaching, learning and assessment who is highly skilled in implementing curriculum strategies for young people and adults across a large College campus.

The role requires substantial experience of teaching and learning in a further education setting coupled with knowledge of key curriculum issues, instructional leadership, operational management, and data-driven school improvement.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in curriculum management and development at a senior level.

As well as the relevant experience, we are looking for someone who is able to provide strong leadership and management, working collaboratively with internal and external key stakeholders.

You will need to be flexible in your approach and willing to maintain an up-to-date understanding of developments within the educational sector and industries pertinent to the College’s curriculum, students, and locality.

Ideally you will be educated to degree level, hold a teaching qualification and be able to demonstrate continued personal development.

This is a full-time, campus-based post.

We are currently recruiting for three Assistant Principal posts, with one role based at each of our campuses in Watford, Hemel Hempstead and Luton. Please specify which campus or campuses you would like to be considered for on your application form.
