Description: About the Team and the role

Archaeology Warwickshire seek a motivated and inspired archaeologist to join our dynamic team. We have an exciting range of commercial projects to deliver and you will need the wherewithal to supervise less experienced archaeologists on all manner of sites, take the lead on smaller evaluations, excavations and watching briefs and report on your work. It is an ideal stepping-stone to Project Officer in our organisation.

We have been providing commercial archaeology and heritage services since the 1980s and we are proud of our focus on a healthy work-life balance and our commitment to enabling people to be the best they can be. Our training and CPD offer is second to none – probably.

This is a full time and permanent position with outstanding benefits in a long established CIfA Registered Organisation.

Key Requirements

We want someone who will use initiative to problem solve without losing sight of what matters most – our people.

This role will suit an individual with several years of experience in UK commercial archaeology, with good communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative culture.
