Revenue & Claims Accountant

In this role, you’ll be part of our Prague-based team that supports Nordic insurance companies. You’ll gain hands-on experience and learn all about the reinsurance industry. It’s a great opportunity to grow your skills, work with international clients, and be part of a friendly, collaborative team that’s passionate about what we do.

What the day will look like

  • Handling all aspects of reinsurance claims and premiums
  • Setting up contractual conditions in our internal system
  • Preparation of the invoices, monitoring of incoming and outgoing payments and ensuring quick money collection
  • Reporting and analysis of various data related to reinsurance
  • Building relationships and providing consultancy to clients on specific claims or premium cases
  • Communication with insurance companies and business partners around the world, together with sales/broking teams

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • University degree (Finance and economics) or 3 years of relevant experience
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • User knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Experience in insurance or reinsurance business is an advantage. However, training will be in place if this is not your immediate background
  • Attention to detail, mathematical way of thinking and enjoy analyzing problems and implementing the appropriate solutions in a methodical manner
  • Strong work ethic with a professional outlook, good organization skills and ability to manage stress
  • The desire to interact and communicate at multiple levels with clients and other partners in the Nordic region
