Overall Purpose of the Role:

Duties Include:

– Writing and checking medical diet menus for different allergies, intolerances, and medical conditions

– Supporting and mentoring key contracts in the South

– Regular communication with parents, schools, catering teams and medical professionals

– Completing medical diet audits across our schools

– Delivering training workshops to catering teams

– Reporting any incidents & working with HSE to investigate

– Being highly visible on the ground to support our colleagues

– Involvement in key projects and delivery of these projects across the business.

– Being a key representative of the medical diets team to operators, clients and schools.

Person Specification

· Must have degree (BSc) in Nutrition or other relevant degree

· Experience in working with people with allergies and intolerances is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

· Experience using nutritional analysis system such as Saffron (or equivalent) desirable but not essential as full training provided

· Excellent IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly

· Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt communication to a range of stakeholders including clients, parents, and pupils

· Excellent organisation skills with ability to manage a busy inbox and a high volume of workload

· Confident in communicating to large groups of people and controlling challenging meetings/conversations

· Ability to work under pressure and met deadlines

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent attention to detail

· Demonstrates can do attitude

· Passion for keeping up to date with latest nutrition research and legislation

· Must be willing to travel and stay away from home occasionally
