About Highview

Highview is a vibrant and welcoming home supporting 4 males with autism and learning disabilities. Based in the heart of Truro, we’re a busy, active, and fun-loving service where every day brings new opportunities and experiences.

Our individuals live full and exciting lives—from holidays at places like Centre Parcs and Butlin’s to activities such as sailing, climbing, kayaking, sea swimming, yoga, and cinema trips.

We’re incredibly proud of our achievements, including:

  • One individual completing the Salutem Superhero Triathlon two years in a row
  • Team member Ben being nominated for a Care Support Worker of the Year award and attending the Proud to Care Awards

The Role

We’re looking for a Support Worker to join our strong, well-established team. This is a replacement role, joining a team that is closely connected and passionate about what they do.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting with daily living tasks and personal care
  • Helping with meal preparation and cooking
  • Supporting with medical appointments
  • Assisting with shopping, family visits, and appointments (e.g. hairdressers)
  • Encouraging and participating in a wide range of activities and adventures, including:
    • Swimming, gym, and fitness sessions
    • Farm visits and outdoor days
    • Sailing, kayaking, and sea swims
    • Cinema trips, theme parks, and football golf
    • Yoga, massage appointments, and more

This is a highly active and engaging role—perfect for someone who enjoys getting out and about.
