About the role
If you’re a digital marketer with great ideas, a background in organic and paid social, then we’d love to meet you.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
This is an ideal role for someone who can build campaigns, raise awareness of the most pressing issues facing disabled people, and help promote our vital services.
In particular, you’ll have a key role in growing our social media engagement, so experience here will be extremely useful.
This role is full time, based at our offices in Selly Oak in Birmingham, with hybrid working in place.
Main duties
- Developing digital content and experiences to promote our vital services, develop social change and increase our income.
- Driving digital engagement strategies with the people Sense supports, their families and loved ones.
- Writing and editing content for professional audiences such as commissioners, social care professionals and developing strategies for engaging with these audience.
Specific responsibilities
- Plan, write and edit digital content with a focus on increasing awareness and engagement.
- Develop plans to grow reach and engagement using the full digital marketing mix.
- Work with colleagues to deliver paid social, PPC and other forms of digital marketing.
- Develop user journeys to grow the numbers of people engaging with our services.
- Engaging with stakeholders, understanding their needs and responding to those needs.
- Inform, upskill, and empower teams at Sense about relevant aspects of digital.
- Manage external agencies and suppliers.
Person specification
- Developing content and marketing plans for specific audiences.
- Managing websites, experience of content, web accessibility and UX.
- Digital acquisition using the full marketing mix.
- Excellent written English: ability to write and edit sharp, accessible, and concise copy for advertising, blogs, web, emails, social and more.
- Advanced IT skills and expert knowledge of content management systems, Adobe CS.
- Knowledge of email marketing and social media.
