Hospitality Manager – Royal Dublin Society (RDS), Dublin | Full-Time / Permanent

We’re looking for a dedicated Hospitality Manager to oversee daily hospitality operations at the RDS – one of Ireland’s most prestigious event venues, hosting conferences, exhibitions, concerts, sporting events, and the world-famous Dublin Horse Show!

As Hospitality Manager you will play a key role in ensuring efficiency, high standards, and exceptional customer service. In collaboration with the Senior Hospitality Manager, you will manage a fixed team of hospitality staff as well as casual staff depending on the event, supporting large-scale conferences, exhibitions, concerts, and prestigious events.

Your role as Hospitality Manager will be pivotal in delivering legendary experiences for guests while supporting operational excellence, staff development, and revenue growth.

Hospitality Manager – The role

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance the customer experience, drive repeat business, and maximise upselling conference and events hospitality opportunities.
  • Ensure service delivery is consistent, professional, and of the highest standard across all events.
  • Assist with the development, review, and implementation of operational SOPs to maintain standards.
  • Work with HR/People Operations to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of hospitality professionals.
  • Plan staff rosters in advance of events, managing labour costs within budgeted parameters.
  • Contribute to achieving the organisation’s sustainability objectives.
  • Support a positive, professional, and motivated team culture.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience managing large-volume hospitality events operations, ideally in a venue or events environment.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with a focus on exceptional service delivery.
  • Experienced in leading, motivating, and developing a dynamic hospitality team.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Confident managing financial budgets and meeting operational targets.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • A third-level qualification in Hospitality Management or related field is desirable.
