Your Role
Capgemini is hiring an AMD to join the FCC Advisory Solutions team based in London. AMDs are leaders in the firm who offer solutions and advice to clients in managing their complex and critical financial crime compliance (“FCC”), risk and governance issues. FCC expands beyond Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions & Embargoes and includes Anti-Fraud and Investigations, Anti-Bribery & Corruptions and Tax Evasion as well as other criminal offenses affecting a financial institution or multi-national corporation.
Typically working in teams, AMDs assist in proposing for and winning new client assignments, and leading large complex assignments, and are responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and reporting stages of multiple advisory client engagements, as well as managing key client accounts. AMDs have knowledge in a range of areas, are considered subject matter experts in some, and are aware of emerging industry and risk trends and contribute to thought leadership and new product design.
Your Profile
Business Development & Growth
- Participate in business development initiatives that include targeting external clients, attending industry conferences, drafting client alerts and white papers, and speaking engagements.
- Ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities and progress in conjunction with other team members.
- Abililty to leverage own network to pursue new leads and secure new business within financial services including banking & capital markets, fintechs and payment services firms.
Product Knowledge & Development
- Input to the development of cutting-edge tech-enabled products and services that will meet client needs, and are considered globally where available.
- Keep abreast, and maintain an understanding of current and emerging regulations, regulatory drivers and business strategies to enable effective evaluation of governance, risk management and compliance environments in financial institutions and corporations.
- Maintain an effective professional network to stay informed of developments within the industry.
- Provide governance, compliance and risk management thought leadership and guidance via external presentations, publications etc.
- Proactively help identify best practices across Cagemini and externally with peers in the industry.
Leadership & Firm Governance
- Act as a mentor and coach to junior colleagues.
- Responsible for oversight and technical execution of compliance, risk and governance advisory consulting work conducted by teams within areas of responsibility.
- Development and management of teams.
- Development and line management of junior level staff.
- Leading in proposal development, and client pitches.
Client Service
- Responsible for overseeing effective planning, management and execution of client engagements.
- Lead teams on client engagements, ensuring teams are adequately supervised, delivering high quality products and services on time and to budget, and dealing with any barriers to progress appropriately
- Work in multi-disciplinary teams to provide FCC regulatory input on technology or business transformation projects relating to AML, Sanctions, Fraud, etc.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders to enable open dialogue, win trust and become a trusted business partner.
- Provide direction to enable team to evaluate client internal control structures to identify control weaknesses and opportunities for process improvement, evaluate the general risk faced by the client, and the potential impact of those risks on the organization and the controls mechanisms in place to mitigate that risk.
- Provide pragmatic advice concerning the practical implications of existing or new financial services regulation and how institutions should best adapt to these.
