Industrial & Automotive Operations Administrator – Fixed Term Contract – Portlaoise 

The Industrial & Automotive Operations Administrator will work closely with the HSE, Compliance and Facility team and will report to  the Oil and I&A Production Manager. This is a 6 month fixed term contract position. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

The role will include duties in the following areas, this list is not exhaustive and will develop and expand over time as the position develops:
 
  • To support the Oil and I & A operations/processing Team to manage the waste processing, repackaging, movement, exports for the Oil/I & A operations.
  • To provide all relevant documentation/labelling /reporting required to move waste off site and overseas working closing with the TFS manager and all other relevant members of the Team for the Oil and I & A operations.
  • To assist in the classification of waste and management of documentation including certificates of disposal/recovery.
  • To arrange the transport to move waste to approved destinations.
  • To manage the stock control of waste and to comply all relevant reporting.
  • To update Drivers Annex daily for stock control.
  • Work on the new tracking system
  • To assist with the opening and closing of WTFs for waste movements.
  • To manage the stock of containers for the Division.
  • To comply Purchase orders for all costs related to the I & A operations/processing areas.
  • To work closely with the Finance Department to ensure that all information required is gathered, to ensure there are Purchase Orders for all costs and to meet daily/weekly/monthly deadlines for stock control and reports.
  • To support the Oil and I & A Production Manager in Health and Safety Management through Walkthroughs, Team huddle meetings and Near Miss reporting. 
  • To assist the Team with complying information for the daily meetings to help build a strong safety and compliance culture, to work closely with the Operations/Processing and HSE Compliance and Facility team in this regard. 
  • To support with the exporting of waste offsite e.g. loading containers
  • To support with loading and offloading the I&A trucks
  • To support with the processing of waste in all areas e.g. (Waste Paint, Batteries, Aerosols, Pesticides, Mixed fuels)

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work methodically with strong organizational and administration skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • To be self-motivated
  • Excellent computer literacy – proficient user in Microsoft Excel
  • Flexible to meet the changing demands of the business
