Manager, Ticketing Operations – Anfield Stadium
Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Manager, Ticketing Operations.
We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional to manage the sales for Men’s cup fixtures (both home and away) across European and domestic competitions, while also sharing responsibility for Women’s games in all formats. This is your chance to be at the heart of the action, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless, best-in-class ticketing journey for fans. You’ll collaborate across departments to bring the club’s Ticketing Strategy to life, making a real impact in a fast-paced, passionate environment.
What will you be doing?
- Lead the ticket sales process for all men’s cup fixtures, including Auto Cup Scheme coordination, communications, and data analysis.
- Oversee ticketing for any Cup Final fixtures across men’s and women’s competitions.
- Jointly manage ticket sales for all women’s fixtures, ensuring smooth priority windows and sale periods.
- Support the renewal and sales process for women’s season tickets.
- Manage ticket inventory for relevant fixtures, maximising utilisation and meeting all requirements.
- Act as ticketing lead for specific events, including non-football and third-party venue fixtures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for the club’s ticketing strategy.
- Liaise with other clubs and venues to confirm allocations and manage away ticket logistics.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of fixtures, including digital ticketing operations.
- Manage contractual ticket allocations and associated processes.
- Line manage Ticketing Coordinators, delegating tasks and ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Ensure ticketing content across club channels is accurate and user-friendly.
- Support matchday ticketing operations, including travel to away and European fixtures when needed.
- Contribute to wider club initiatives requiring ticketing expertise.
- Work with Supporter Services, Access, and Safety teams to resolve escalated ticketing issues.
- Liaise with Finance to complete reconciliations and investigate discrepancies or fraud.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a confident and experienced ticketing professional with a strong background in high-volume environments within the sports or entertainment industry. You’ll bring excellent industry knowledge, especially in football and a proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels. With a track record of driving policy and process improvements, you’ll be a natural leader who knows how to delegate effectively and keep teams aligned.
Technically, you’ll be proficient in platforms like SeatGeek and Fortress, with hands-on experience in digital ticketing and access control systems. Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets are essential, as is a sharp eye for detail and a passion for delivering seamless fan experiences.
