Overview
As a Technician at our Grays and Purfleet campus you will play an active role supporting our Higher Education teaching teams, helping shape the integration and embedding of technical learning and teaching at our institution. You will provide specialist support for students studying on our successful BA (Hons) Costume Construction and FdA/BA (Hons) Hair and Makeup Design and Application for Production. You will take a lead in the day-to-day studio management including ordering resources, Risk Assessments and COSHH management. The successful candidate will be a someone with excellent knowledge of techniques used in the studio and creative design practices. They will also be capable of explaining complex information clearly and enthusiastic about imparting their knowledge of the subject area(s) to others. Above all we are looking for an experienced, adaptable, dynamic, self-motivated individual with a passion to inspire our students to succeed in their chosen studies.
