Our Tailormade Travel Consultants are passionate individuals who champion the exceptional service our customers expect from Saga Travel Group.

When you join us, you will be responsible for selling our broad range of tailormade holidays to inbound callers as well as website enquiries. You’ll be curious, asking all the right questions, acting as a trusted consultant to curate the perfect holiday, and deliver a differentiated ‘concierge’ level of service.

*Hybrid role, in office 2-3 days per week

  • Assist our customers in identifying the right choice for them, highlighting key places to visit, ‘top tips’ for each destination and truly matching the individual to the Holiday.
  • Provide our customers with exceptional service throughout the booking journey, championing new contact methods and delivering a ‘concierge’ level of service.
  • As a trusted consultant, listen to customer requirements and tailor the right holiday for them, spanning various travel methods (i.e. flight only, bespoke touring, dynamically packaged hotels and city breaks).
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and drive increased booking revenues.
  • Be the champion of the customer within the business, working with other departments to create a ‘Never say no’ culture and ensure their specific and varied needs are met.
  • Thorough and good attention to detail.
  • Sales background, ideally in Travel.
  • Knowledge of a GDS system (Amadeus preferable).
  • Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and at pace.
  • Extensive experience travelling, with a keen passion for exploring new destinations.
  • Strong geographical knowledge – cities, airports (and codes), key landmarks, bucket list destinations/sights etc.
  • Contact centre roles and/or customer service roles, delivering exceptional experiences.
